Overview

A UK-based specialist consultancy led by Independent Prescribers focusing on medication optimisation and CQC medication governance for adult social care providers. The project required a professional, trust-building digital presence with secure inquiry handling and GDPR compliance.

The problem

The client, a senior Independent Prescriber, had been operating purely through word-of-mouth referrals with no web presence. Care homes and social care providers had no way to verify their credentials, understand their services, or make confidential inquiries online. The entire business pipeline relied on in-person networking. The key challenge was building a site that projected medical authority and compliance credibility, while making it frictionless for busy healthcare administrators to reach out, all while being fully GDPR-compliant.

What we did

We designed a clean, professional website anchored in trust signals: credentials prominently displayed, CQC-aligned service descriptions, and a structured consultation inquiry form with explicit consent management. The visual language was deliberately clinical and authoritative, calm colour palette, formal typography, concise copy. All form submissions are encrypted in transit, server-side validated, and delivered via a secure PHP mailer. The site was structured to rank well for local healthcare search terms, driving organic discovery from care home managers and commissioners.

Our role

Our team handled the complete project lifecycle, from scoping and content strategy, through UI/UX design, full-stack development (PHP/HTML/CSS/JS), GDPR implementation, server configuration, SSL setup, and post-launch SEO submission. We also provided the client with a brief training session on managing basic content updates.
